Sick in Bed Part 2

Well, it has been made official, I have contracted Kristian's stomach flu and let me tell you it's not pretty. Sorry, no pictures, I do not want to frighten anyone. It came on really sudden and I don't think I have been that sick in ages. I feel like I have lost 10lbs. But I feel soooooo much better than I did yesterday afternoon.

Sick in Bed

Kristian has the dreaded stomach flu. He has woken up 2 nights in a row between 1 and 2 a.m. We gave him a bucket but he never seems to make it. So, we clean him up, change bedding, and start the washer. We have gone through 3 comforters and numerous blankets and pillows. Thankfully, I have a awesome husband who has been so helpful to me through all this. Kristian also has his Nurse, Josie, to look after him. As sick as he has been, he has really been a trooper.

Open House

Last night was Open House at Kristian's school. There was also a Science Fair and Book Fair. On the bottom display was Kristian's science project where he learned all about the rain forest. We also received his report card and once again he did really well with his reading and math. This is his book that he started at the beginning of the year with various art and writing projects inside. There is a page for each month he has been in school.
If you cannot tell what he is laying on it is Antartica and I think he has made his claim. We were inside a huge globe that the older kids had made, kind of like a planetarium. It was really neat. And silly me I forgot to rotate the picture. Rookie bloggers!
And here we are with the find of the evening, the ever entertaining book "Skippyjon Jones" This is the most hilarious kids book I think I have ever read. Very Entertaining. And it's fun to say: Skippyjon Jones, Skippyjon Jones, Skippyjon Jones!

Snow Day

Luke and Kristian went skiing with G'pa Mitchell, G'ma Connie, and Uncle Tom yesterday. It was Luke's 1st time on the slopes and by all accounts he did really well. Pictured is Kristian and his G'pa. Kristian really enjoys skiing and is doing pretty good. Thanks to G'pa and G'ma for giving the boys a much deserved snow day!

Friday Afternoon Surprise

Josie aka "the shredder" apparently got a little bored today and decided to eat my dictionary and Kristian's library book ironicly titled "The Dinosaur Ate My Homework".
Apparently I spelled ironicly wrong and spell check did not fix it and when I went to check my dictionary I remembered that it had been eaten.
